This toy has been included in the ‘fidget’ toys basket and it has been consistently rated by child clients as the best of all the fun toys available to fiddle with. When I ask them why, they answer that it intrigues them to try and work out how the blocks fall through each other from top to bottom. We then talk about the concept of mindfulness and being attentive to the present. Another conversation involves the concept of illusions and tricks and why these capture our attention.
